restaurant reservations?

We are traveling to Aruba May 1-9. We are interested in dining at El Gaucho, Madame Janette, Marandi,Pincho's. Are things crowded this time of year? Do we need to make reservations before we leave, or will it be okay to wait until we are there. Also open to other restaurant suggestions. Would also be interested in a good breakfast buffet for one morning

Thank you for your response.

I would make reservations for the two restaurants you mentioned because they do get crowded. Ask for a table downstairs at the El Gaucho. Upstairs is very claustrophobic. Madame Janettes is also very popular although I haven't been to that one. I would make the two or three reservations for your top three pics. Than wing the rest. Aruba has great dining. I liked the Chalet Suisse. The food was very good there. Dining on the beach at sunset is also a must do and most of the big hotels offer this. Breakfast buffets are probably offered at all of the large hotels also. We stayed at the Marriott and they had one every day. I am sure Hyatt, Radisson and some of the others do also. We ate the breakfast buffet every morning at 11:00-11:30. We skipped lunch and saved ourselves for an early dinner. (around 6:30)

We were there the first week in March and made many of our reservations at home, but discovered people making them down there with no problem. You might want to try Le Dome. You feel like you are in a rustic home in France. The Radisson does a daily buffet that is quite good.

How do you make reservations before you go? I can't find any place to do it?

Some of the more popular restaurants have websites and you can submit your reservation on line. Try this link

Also this http://www.elgaucho-aruba.com/
I made all of my reservations before we left but the concierge at our hotel, the Hyatt, was also available to make any dinner reservations for the guests of the hotel.
