Brenandg, thank you so much for the kind thoughts. It means so much when people take time to show their concern, especially after so much time has passed.
Obviously I'm excited. I leave this coming Thur and overnight in San Juan, connect in St. Lucia Fri afternoon, arrive St. Vincent around dinner time. Plan to spend some time with my friends, then late Sun afternoon fly to St. Lucia and board the Yankee Clipper for a week long cruise in the Grenadines. Will spend Sat in St. Lucia, heading back home Sunday and get ready for the Christmas holidays.
Have a wonderful trip to St.John.

vinceygirl have a great trip.
seaslife, Expedia etc will not give you the best options for getting to St. Vincent. Your are best to use them only to book your international hub to hub flights e.g. in and out of Barbados.
You can purchase LIAT tickets on line at their website www.liatairline.com. Give yourself lots of connection time for the Barbados St Vincent leg - I would say two hours if possible but I have done it in a lot less.
Caribbean Star also has a website but they do not issue etickets - rther they issue an "order confirmation" that you have to pay for when you check in...and this is timeconsuming as the staff are not very well trained in the necessary procedures. My advice for using CS is to get a paid-for paper ticket, and to get this through a real travel agent in your community, not an online service. AGain, allow lots of connection time.
Air Mustique/SVG Air/Grenadines Airways will never come up on Expedia etc. as they are not FAA regulated. Go directly to the website - www.svgair.com. They will issue etickets.
