Just booked West Bay Resort in November! Is a car really necessary?
We are really excited and keeping our fingers crossed for good weather. Will we feel stuck at the resort if we don't get a car? Hoping to walk most places. Thanks! Any other advice/tips would be most welcome, too!

kellybeaches,
Thank you so much! Can't wait to read this and see your pictures! I probably sound stupid, but I really hate driving on the left unless there's not much traffic. I guess you didn't find it problematic?

Sure, no problem. Hope it helps! Traffic isn't bad. Driving on the left takes some getting used to. Also, if and when you rent a car ask them if the steering wheel is on the right or left. My husband is fine driving on the left, but the wheel in our van on the right threw him off a bit. Fortunately, unless you're driving during rush hour on Leeward highway (the main road) traffic isn't heavy. Just be careful on the turnabouts. There are no lights -only turnabouts. Remember to "give way" to the people going through the turnabouts!
