Is Tap water drinkable on St. Lucia?

I read somewhere that the tap water is drinkable but I have too many case of other places in the Caribbean where people got sick from drinking the tap water. Can someone confirm that the tap water is drinkable? Personal experiences?
Thanks, Phil

We spent 10 days there and never got sick, and drank plenty of water. If your so worried go to your Dr. and get Cipro it will take care of your worries whenever you travel out of the country.
