Hotel ideas needed
We stayed at one of the Barcelo properties in Riviera Maya, Mexico 10 years ago and loved it. We loved the beautiful beach area and being able to go to 3 or 4 other Barcelo hotels for activities and restaurants. I like to stay at different places so am looking for suggestions of other hotel chains you can do that at. The beach is very important to us. Walk in white sand beaches please. The only other one I'Im familiar with is the Iberstar properties. Sorry if not spelling the hotel names right. Maybe middle to next to high end. Would consider Turks and Caicos BVI etc.

Neither Barcelona or Iberostar operate hotels in the BVI's and for all practical purposes there are no "chain" resorts in either the BVI's or USVI's where you can switch and/or use facilities of other "sister" resorts.
Little Dix Bay on Virgin Gorda (BVI) and Caneel Bay on St. John (USVI) are operated by the same company and usually offer a combined "package" but they are in two different islands so you'd have to stay a few days at one resort and a few days at the other as they are too far apart to visit both on the same day. Also, Little Dix Bay is closed for renovation until December 2018 so you could even stay there if you are traveling before the.
Ocean Club and Ocean Club West are 2 properties on Providenciales (in the Turks & Caicos) that are operated by the same company and allow guests to use facilities at bot resorts. As far as I know they are the only ones that have a reciprocal arrangement in the T&C's.
You'll probably have the most luck finding "reciprocal resorts" in Cancun, Cozumel, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic.
Forget most, if not all, of the smaller islands as they won't have multiple resorts run by the same chain.
