Honeymoon or not?
Hi There,
I need some help deciding which island to visit on honeymoon, we are in the age group of 25-35 and want to stay somewhere pretty spectacular. its important that the resort is pretty up there as this will probably be the last holiday we will have before we try to expand our family.
We like to relax a little, but also like to swim, love water sports such as jet skiing. Also like to see the local attractions. Love our food (and drink - we're Irish). Can someone please help? We thought about doing a cruise but not sure if that is the right way to see the Caribbean?
Another quick question - is it possible to move between islands in the Caribbean or is that too hard/expensive to do?
Thanks - any advise is appreciated!
Majie (it made me select a tag so selected one at random)

Just a hint -- even though it asks for a tag it isn't required. The problem now is mostly folks who know T&C will read your thread and others may skip it.
You can move between some islands and some -- it is very difficult. How long is the trip?

What is that budget-wise?

Congratulations on your honeymoon! We love Turks and Caicos, but most activities are water-based. There aren't really that many other attractions to see, and very little shopping. Food is some of the best we've had in the islands, but expensive.
We have been staying at THE VENETIAN for the last several years. It's a high-end boutique hotel on one of the quieter sections of Grace Bay Beach. There's no restaurant on site,
so if you're looking for more of a full-service resort, check out SEVEN STARS, THE PALMS, GRACE BAY CLUB.
Forget about moving easily between islands in the Caribbean. Not that simple, although you could combine St. Martin and Anguilla or St. Barts.

Thanks guys! This is my first post so that's why I thought I had to post a tag.
Budget wise would be between 359-500 per night, obviously the best deal we can get would be great, but if we have to spend a little more it's ok. Staying in Mexico for 5 nights first then onto Caribbean. We both have Jamaica or Barbados in our minds but really need some help in regards to the best all round island?for our above interests. And also how long should we stay... One week enough? We don't want to get bored either. A day or two relaxing is enough for us.
Thanks!!!!

Maybe you could start another thread w/ a title something like "Having trouble deciding which island(s) for our upscale honeymoon". (Just a suggestion - don't use my words but paraphrase to get the info you are looking for)
And don't tag it for a specific island group> Or if there are 3 or 4 you are leaning towards -- like T&C, USVI, Aruba, etc … whichever. You can tag up to 4 different countries.
