Honeymoon in St. Barth's in 1 week...need advice...

Hi - I've been reading all your St.Barth's postings (especially the caribecouple), and I could use some advice. We have 9 days to enjoy St. Barth's and I want to make sure we don't miss any of "the good stuff". If any of you could provide me with some ideas of the best places to go (restaurants, beachs, etc.) I would be eternally grateful. Also, I know the nightlife is limited on St.Barth's, but are there ANY fun clubs or nightlife? Thanks so much in advance. I'd be happy to exchange info with any of you re: other Caribbean destinations, Kenya, S. Africa, or other Asian destinations, so as to "return the favor" -- thanks so much!

Hi Robert. First, congratulations on your upcoming nuptials. Second, the place to go for terrific St. Barths info is sbhonline.com. Go to the discussion forum there and then do a search using the words "restaurant", etc. Another good site is the official tourist info. site at http://www.st-barths.com. A well known happening night spot is Le Ti St-Barth. They serve dinner and then afterwards the place revs up and folks dance on the tables.

Have a great time and don't forget to post a review when you get back!

Just returned from SB yesterday & stayed in a private rental villa - Flamands Blue.
Sorry, but LeTi St. Barth (it was fun, but a little overpriced for dinner) has been closed since May, it seems permanently. Something about too much noise in the residental neighborhood...

When is your honeymoon and where are you staying?
Clubs: Luna (the new one on the harbor in Gustavia)-- VERY HIP, Nicki beach in St. Jean usually has good music, Feelings on the top of Mt. Lurin is fun and a little "out there", and the LePetit Club in Gustavia as well. This past week we best liked the band at the Buenavista, again on Gustavia harbor.
One of the MOST fun things about this beautiful Island is the people watching!
9 days is way better than a week too...

First of all carbcouple, I am staying at Flamands Blue in a few weeks. Let me know how you liked it.

A restaurant we enjoyed last time we were there was Bou Bou's. It is on the beach and is a wonderful romantic spot with great food. I don't remember the exact location but it's worth looking up.

Enjoy your stay in paradise!

Darn.
I hate being the bearer of bad news but Boubou's is closed too. Seems they lost their lease at the Sereno Beach Hotel & Boubou himself has moved on... They stared a major remodel of that hotel to very upscale so it will be closed the year we're told.
Flamands Blue is perfect. Great views and location, nice layout, short walk to la plage. No cable TV, but who cares?
Enjoy your trip.
ps the French female impersonator waiters @ Feelings fooled all of us except my wife.
