Has anyone stayed at the Princess Port de Plaisance in St. Martin?

Is this hotel on the water? Any comments about this hotel?

Hi:
We are going to this Hotel shortly. If you have any info, I'd appreciate it. It's not listed in the travel books, but I did get a website through RCI.com. Every time I tried to go straight to WWW.portdeplaisance.com it wouldn't go through & since I'm a member of RCI I got on that way. I'm assuming it's either new or has recently changed ownership (&name). The website has a virtual reality tour that's really cool. It is on the water, but it's Simpson Bay Lagoon. Look at your local library or bookstore for info/maps. Let me know what you find out. Thanks, Ann

You are correct in that the resort recently did change ownership. It was rebuilt by the new owners from hurricane Luis damage. If you look on a map, it is on Simpson Bay roughly in the Cole Hill area.

Posts about the casino, nightclub and all you can eat buffet have all been very positive.

If you post on WWW.TRAVELTALKONLINE.COM or WWW.GOBEACH.COM/SXM you are more likely to come across people who have stayed there.
dtour: Must you swear in every one of your posts. You say it as if it's in your everyday vocab. Personally, I'm not offended but others might be and it's really not necessary.
