Grand Cayman in Late February?

We are thinking of going to Grand Cayman for a week in late February. Since it is located in the northern part of the Caribbean, I was not sure how dependably sunny and warm it would be at that time of the year. Has anybody been there then, and what were your experiences with the weather?

Gorgeous there!! Beautiful beaches and great for snorkel trips. The weather is fine in late February;March might be better, however. I know friends who were there in mid-April for the first time and loved Grand Cymans.
Best of luck selecting a trip.

temps low 80's. seems like the biggest issue that time of year is wind.

if you'd like to look at some other islands - click 'trip planner' at the top of the page. you do need to know the airport code for the place you want to look at.

We were there in the month of Feb and the temps during the day were anywhere from the low 70's to low 80's. The nights sometimes were in the low 60's to the low 70's. We found the weather to be pleasant during the day but not overly warm at night.

The average high in Feb is 81 and the average low is 74. I'm going to dispute the poster saying the temperature was often in the low 60s at night. This year, the lowest recorded temperature was 66.9. And that was on April 9th.
If you are staying on SMB, wind will not be a problem that time of year.

Thanks for all your help! Based on your positive comments, we will be going there the last week in February and will be staying at the Caribbean Club on SMB.
