absolutley loved it. Very simple and noce. Very french. A nice and cheap hotel on a usually very expensive and pretentious island
We have stayed there twice & have absolutely loved it. We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. It has a great location on St. Jean beach that is close to shopping & other restaurants/bars. The beachside pool with its restaurant/bar is a great place to relax. Very reasonably priced for St. Barts.
We've been going to St. Barths annually (sometimes twice a year) for 15 years. Much has changed. Filao Beach is a nice, very simple hotel on the beach, centrally located. We always rent a villa (available in all price ranges) from Sibarth (go to www.wimco.com). Way better value, much more privacy and freedom. Not good if you're looking to socialize or meet people. Have fun on beautiful St. Barths -- the very best island in the Carribean!
Gayle, tell me about the "much has changed" part -- good or bad! Thanks!
