DH and I just booked a trip for 11 days. We love Virgin Gorda and St. John but decided to go back to Virgin Gorda this time. However, we have great memories of snorkeling at Waterlemon and were wondering if there are any day trip boats that go there from VG. We've done some other day trips from VG in the past but haven't seen any that stop at Waterlemon. Thanks in advance if anyone knows of any.
Day trip from Virgin Gorda to Waterlemon Cay, St. John?

Most day boats in the BVI stay in the BVI. Your other option is to take a ferry and taxi, but quite honestly, it would be terribly expensive and time consuming.
Have you snorkeled the Indians? If not, I would do that. They are in the BVI and should be easier to get to (and at least just as good) as waterlemon cay.
Yes, we did the Indians last time and enjoyed them very much, although at least the day we were there, they weren't quite as good as Waterlemon. We were fortunate to see octopus on two occasions at Waterlemon (on one occasion we actually saw two of them fighting) which was a standout.
Bummer that it's not easier to get to, but I agree we will have lots of other potential day trips...
Go with Double D charters to the Indians and Norman Island (next to each other). Thake another trip to Monkey Point and Destination Bay. Those are among the best spots in the BVI's. Most BVI boats are not licmsed to go into US VI'sand Watermelon Key is just off St. John.
I agree with other posters. Don't think that is possible on a day trip from VG. Even if you took the ferry which only runs twice a week I think, getting at taxi to Leinster Bay and back from Cruz Bay would be very difficult.
