We will be going to curacao in October. I understand it is out of the hurricane belt...has anyone been there in late Oct? What was the weather like? Also, is there any ferry boat service available from Curacao to Aruba, Bonaire or Venezuela? Thanks!

Does anyone have any answers to these questions? And, mgfit, did you go to Curacao last late Oct.? We are looking at going this late Oct.
As or a trip to Venezuela I am told it is quite unsafe there, esp. for tourists. You may want to look into that a bit further. Try going to: www.aruba.com. There is a message board there and info about ferries might be easier to get. Bon dia!
My wife and I have been to Aruba several times and have been unsuccessful in finding a ferry to Curacao. There is a local flight service a couple times a day that I found on the aruba airports website. October is beautiful in Aruba that time of year and I would think Curacao as well.
We were in Curacao in Oct couple years ago. Weather was good no rain at all. Fun place. Lots of beaches to explore. I did not hear of any ferry service between the islands.
There is a ferry service between Curacao and Bonaire. That is it. You need to fly between any of the other islands. Do not bother with Venezuela. It is unsafe and a hassle.
There is no ferry service now. Weather in first part of October was about 90 with 100% humidity. It was hot!!! We had a few night time showers & one quick day shower. Had a wonderful time!
