Where to go in Aug/Sept

I am starting a new job in June and won't be able to take vacation until late August/early September. My boyfriend and I were really hoping to go to the Carribbean but I am concerned about hurricane season. Anyone have any suggestions. We would like someplace sunny and warm, on the beach, some nightlife. We can only take a week so preferably somewhere without too long of a flight(we are leaving from Ohio) and we are willing to spend around $2000. Thanks!

I would suggest you check into Aruba... sounds like it might be a good option for you. Good luck.

I suggest Bonaire..if you like to snorkel or scuba as Aruba is not good for either.Bonaire is pretty too.Or check out Curacao. All 3 islands are outside the hurricane belt.

I think you could pack your sandals for either Curacao or Aruba. We personally love Curacao. The people are very friendly. The weather is sunny and warm and there is nightlife. It's important that you know though that the ABC islands are a longer flight.

Aruba is a fun place. It has the white sand and the green water. It is hot and usually sunny and has some nightlife. It also has a variety of accomodations, so you should be able to get something in your price range.
