Coral Marien or Allegro Jack Ta??? Please pick for us!!!
Me and my boyfriend booked a trip to Puerto Plata back in March at the all inclusive Coral Marien Resort by Hilton.
Now 8 days before we leave my boyfriend discovered that one of his cousins will be going to Puerto Plata as well, on the same dates, and will be staying at Occidental Allegro Jack Tar.
Now after speaking with his cousin, he is insisting that this resort would be much better for us and that we should probably change our hotel. He likes the idea of no kids policy, village like atmosphere and casino.
I on the otherhand, have fallen in love with the photos of the Coral Marien and am not that impressed with the ones of Jack Tar (although I know from experience how deceiving photos can be!). Plus I envision an old people, retirement home type of atmosphere with probably not much nightlife.
We really can't seem to agree on this. If we change hotels while down there, we will incur a lot of additional fees. Therefore, we need to make the decision now before we go.
If anyone has been to Puerto Plata and knows of these hotels..(from what I understand they're not very far apart) please help us choose! Your opinion will actually be the deciding factor of where we stay...(not to put pressure on you, but we really can't seem to make this decision on our own!) Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Please click on this link and read the Reviews on both Hotels. They have great reviews if you don't already know this.
This way you can print and show the reviews to everyone and then decide.
We are going for Coral Marien Resort, I did a lot of research and they came up the best, you will see for yourself once you read the reviews.
The food and drinks are great here, bring your own insulated cup the bar tenders love filling them for you.
