Condo on Seven Mile Beach
Hi,
Have vacationed in the Caymans foru times so far and am drawn back to it again for next May. I am interested in hearing from anyone that secured a good stay in a Condo on Seven Mile beach that was sub 200 dollars a day. As we are coming from Europe we will be staying for 14 nights and prices above this make the saty very expensive. We usually stay in the Marriott but would like a Condo this time. I have tried a few condo places like Villas of the Galleons and beachcomer but they are nudging the 300 dollar mark for a one bed in the middle of May next year. We are not looking to stay slap bang in the middle of seven mile beach and anything at the north end is great.
any help would be appreciated - thank you in advance.
Paul

How many bedrooms are you interested in? You'll find lower prices for the condominiums at the Southern and Northern sections of Seven Mile Beach. Also look on VRBO.com and FlipKey.com for rentals by owner. Many times you can get a good deal that way.
A quick search indicates that two placed I would stay:
the Anchorage, which is on a nice stretch of beach on the northern section, has 1 bedroom units that are within your budget. http://www.theanchoragecayman.com/
and the Plantana which is on Central SMB is almost there (staying for 14 nights will usually get you a reduced rate if you ask...) http://www.plantanacayman.com/rates.php
Not necessarily recommending any of these, but some others to investigate are Plantation Village, Christopher Columbus, Treasure island, Coco Plum, the Sundowner and Poinsettia.
