Chez Shell Villa, St. John
Hi,
Has anyone stayed at this property recently?
Or can anyone tell me something about it?
I am looking for a nce place to rent for a vacation with my family.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

Hello ghg! I am not familiar with that place but if that doesnt work out for you you should ABSOLUTELY look into GALLOWS POINT resort. Awesome place that will save you a lot of money. Go to gallowspointresort.com

It is in a terrific location, close enough to Cruz Bay to be convenient for shopping and restaurants, and far away enough to have privacy and quiet. The villa seems lovely and very well equipped. It says it has ac in the bedrooms, I would just check with the rental agent that the units are in good working order.

sorry bout that ghg. If I were you I would consider the WESTIN in St. John it is very close to Cruz Bay and it is a great place that will save you money in St. John. Go to www.westinstjohn to check it out. Hope this works out for you.

I'm not sure I get how the Westin will save a person money - at $600+ a night, from what I'm reading. I'm about to reserve Chez Shell also - cause seems like a great deal. Is there a way to get the Westin at a more afordable rate? Thanks for your help.

The Westin is part of the Starwood resorts conglomerate and becoming a member (free) often gets you deals not only in St. John but all over the world. Check them out on their website. Just search under "Starwood Resorts." Also, the Westin in St. John also rents out sort of mini villas which are up the hill from the resort. The prices are comparable to mid-range villas and share all the amenities of the resort. Check the Westin's site which will have more info. Also, search under Westin timeshares St. John USVI, there is a website which coordinates the rentals of these mini villas which have a lot of timeshare involvement.
