Casa YaYa-St. John
Does anyone have any info about Casa YaYa on St. John? It looks like a fabulous villa in the pics online. My only concern is that it is totally open air with no AC. My husband and I are going in June and are worried about bugs and the heat. Should we be concerned or is the villa worth it?

We stayed there a few years ago and loved it. We went in June too, and found it quite comfortable b/c of the way you could roll up the garage type door in the den opening up the whole wall basically. Also being up on the hill, you got a good breeze. We saw plenty of lizards, but no bugs (again, the breeze helped, I'm sure). The house was was cute & funky with the outdoor showers and view from the little pool was amazing. We split that trip between 2 villas and stayed the rest of the time on the other side of the island @ Chocolate Hole. The only thing I dind't like as much about Casa Yaya was the longer, rougher drive to reach it.

My wife and I took our 3 teenage daughters to St. John 2 years ago and rented Casa Yaya for 9 days in June. We had absolutely no complaints about the house. It was just what we had hoped it would be. I have pictures if you would like me to email you a few.
