Casa de Campo- luxury for honeymoon?
We are getting married at a villa in the Dominican Republic and were planning on heading off to Cap Juluca or Four Seasons in Nevis for our honeymoon, but it would be a lot easier to just stay put in the DR. Is Casa de Campo considered a luxury property in the same class as the places I have mentioned above?
Do you think it would be a nice spot for honeymoon?

Definitely not. We really enjoyed Casa, but it is definitely not the luxurious feel of the others you mentioned.
As a honeymoon spot, it depends what you like. There are a lot of fun activities available there and some good restaurants. If all you want to do is lie (lay?) on the beach and feel pampered, there are probably better options.

It doesn't make sense to me if your getting married in a villa at Casa de Campo (and some of the villas are gorgeous-Oscar de La Renta lived there as well as Michael Jackson-they boh live in Punta Cana now) to fly off the island.. There are many Secrets facilities on the island and a NEW Sunscape Beach in Punta Cana which will be very luxurious and upscale (if it's finished yet)
