Caribbean All-Inclusive

Jump to last reply

My husband and I are shopping around for a Caribbean all-inclusive for Summer 2013 (likely between May and July). Our budget is around $6000 including airfare from Savannah, GA or Jacksonville, FL.

We traveled to Couples Swept Away last June and had an incredible time. We would almost just be repeaters if we did not place some value on new experiences. We would like to find something similar with just a little bit of increased luxury (particularly regarding the room). We like the all-inclusive aspect and aren't sure we want to waver from that. We would prefer not to travel back to Jamaica and St. Lucia just yet, as we have been to each in the past two years. We would like to stay away from Mexico and the DR; I guess we are looking for something a little more "off the beaten path."

Some priorities include:

-beautiful beach
-good food: mostly a la carte meals with several dining options (preferably more than 1 restaurant)
-Hobie cats (almost the only thing on the husband's list)
-everything included (mentally, we don't like the idea of paying for all-inclusive and then having "surcharges" for certain restaurants, etc.)

Any suggestions for us to check out?
