A favorite of ours was the Brig Unicorn Sunset Sail. I've heard the day sail is great also. The ship sails from Vigie Harbor, near the Coal Pot Restaurant, in Castries. Not far from Halcyon - probably a 5 to 10 minute taxi ride. I'm sure the hotel front desk could make arrangements for you. I believe it was $40 per person.

Strolling around historical Pigeon island (no longer an island - is now connected to the mainland) was fun and offered some great views.

As a second thought, personnally, I was not at all impressed with the drive-in volcano and sulphur springs. Unless it's part of an excursion that includes other points of interest, I wouldn't travel that far just for that.

I should also add that Pigeon island is an interesting, historical site. If you go there check out the Captain's Cellar restaurant on your way in. The hike to the highest point is sort of strenuous so you will want to be in somewhat good shape. It offers some wonderful views. However, you don't have to do the hike to enjoy the area. I'm guessing this is a 15-minute taxi ride from Halcyon.

My favorite was the combination rainforest safari/boat tour..you leave early a.m., tour the rainforest, have a great Creole buffet prepared for you and then the afternoon is spent sailing, beginning in Soufriere and ending up in Rodney Bay, truly an enjoyable tour. I second the suggestion of visiting Pigeon Island.
