Vancouver, Victoria 1/2 day each and what to do?

Doing the Carnival Mexico substitute, The Pacific Northwest! I love it there but what is the must see- must do in Victoria & Vancouver? Did Buchart before, are there any other garden areas in the 2 cities? The top cultural sites and last but not least a Brewery!
Any help will do! Thanks,

My must do in Vancouver is Stanley Park. Steamworks brewpub is right near the pier, if you're coming in to Canada Place. There's also a Dutch Masterpieces exhibit at the Art Gallery that looks interesting.

Royal BC Museum in Victoria is a must IMO.

Half day each?

Stanley Park and Granville Island is all you'll have time for in Vancouver. If you like botanical gardens, Vancouver has VanDusen Gardens and Queen Elizabeth Park, but you won't have time for that.

Victoria has the Royal BC Museum which is definitely a must see.

Hi jberrios80

I concur with the others for Vancouver; if I had half a day in Vancouver, I'd go to English Bay Beach and walk around Stanley Park.

As much as the Royal BC Museum was terrific and for a rainy day I might pick to go there, on a nice day for one who likes walking, with only half a day, I'd probably soak up the energy in Victoria Harbour (Empress Hotel, listen to some buskers) and then walk over to Beacon Hill Park and to Dallas Road, to enjoy the views of the Juan de Fuca strait.

Enjoy! Daniel

I'd walk the seawall around Coal harbour, close to cruise ship terminal, and if time allowed would continue in to Stanley park.
