US Flyer,
We stayed at the Sheraton Eaton Centre a couple of year ago and just loved it! It was an excellent location and a very good hotel. I booked them through my Entertainment Club Passbook rate and received an excellent rate. Good luck and enjoy your trip!!

The Westin is fine but the nieghborhood is a little dull....it's kind of below the finance district and a little quite at night. North of the of the area near Queen or Bloor offer more walking, dining, and shopping options. Sheraton, Delta, Holiday Inn, Marriot and Radisson are pretty good. A little gem is the Cambridge Suites near Young & Queen; it's my fave when I'm in Toronto on business. But if you don't mind a bit of walk or short cab rides then the Westin is fine. Cheers. Rob

Don't stay at the Westin. It's quite a hike underneath the freeway to most places of interest. You'll feel separated from the rest of the city.

I like the Sheraton or the Hilton.

Jayce: I live in Toronto, and know alot of the hotels. The Westin is a beautiful hotel, very large, used by alot of conventions. It is near the waterfront. I am not sure, when you are arriving, but if it is in the summer, you will love it. You are close to Queen's quay, where there are many shops and restaurants. You are close to Centre Island, which you can get to by taking a ferry. Centre island is a park with rides, tennis courts. I can also recommend either the Marriott Eaton Centre(it is called the Marriott, not Sheraton) which is next door to the Eaton Centre, a large shopping mall, in downtown Toronto, or the Hilton or the Sheraton Centre, which are in the same area. If you are coming in the winter/spring, I would recommend staying at the Marriott or Hilton. The Westin location, with it being near the waterfront, is very cold, and with not much activity, especially in the winter. Wherever you stay, I am sure you will have a good time in our city...Toni
