Round Trip tour BALTIMORE, MD/Nova Scotia/NewFoundland/???
Looking at planning a trip for 2014 summer from Baltimore, MD up the east US Coast to Nova Scotia to New Foundland. Would prefer NOT to just go back the same way and wanted to know if there is any good way to make some sort of loop through the provinces en route home.
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

I don't like the idea of driving a rental car from the US into Canada.
See if this works for you: Take an Amtrak train from Baltimore to Boston (south station). Get to Boston Logan and fly to St. Johns NF. Spend 2-3 days with a rental car on Newfoundland Island. Fly from St. John to Halifax NS. Rent a car there to see Nova Scotia including the drive around Cape Breton. Drive to Sackville NB and take 16 to get to the bridge to Prince Edward Island.
Depending on how much more time you have, you could consider a trip north and around the Gaspe Peninsula.
Return the rental car to Halifax and fly back to either Boston or Baltimore.
