Jasper Accomodations

Looking for a cabin in the Jasper area for July, 2003. We've looked at several online and would like to know if anyone has information about Patricia Lake Bungalows.
If so, we'd love to hear your comments. Any other referrals would also be appreciated.
Peace to all.

You might be interested in checking out Jasper House Bungalows and Becker's Roaring River Chalets. Beckers might have had a name change, but as far as I know there is only one Beckers. It is south of the main townsite about 4 or 5 miles.

I have stayed at Jasper House. They are on the expensive side, but so is everything commercial in Jasper.
Some units have separate bedrooms and kitchen nooks with an eating table and utinsels.

Both places are on the banks of the Athabasca River, which at various places is a swiftly moving stream.
Dont know Patricia Lake, but I liked the Pyramid Lake bungalows, about 1 mile from downtown on a beautiful lake. You might want to check them out.

My wife and I stayed at Pat. Lake bungalows 4 yrs ago in july.It was great, very nice little cabins with fire places, full kitchens, communal outdoor hot tub and bar b ques to use.And the view on the lake was amazing. Also very close to town. Were from the east coast and think Pat.lake/Jasper could very well be the most beautifull place in the country!Feel free to email me with any questions.Would return in a flash.

Jennifer - Late April is normally too late for skiing. I would suggest that you make the trip in February or early March if skiing is the in the plans. We went to Jasper in late April and did some hiking while we were there which was nice. We had to stick to the lower elevations and it was a little muddy in places, but was still a wonderful trip. We did find some things, like the Maligne Lake tours were closed because skiing season had ended. Try www.jaspercanadianrockies.com for more info for your planning.
