Free online topo map of New Zealand
Anyone planning to hit the great outdoors of New Zealand is likely to find a topogrphic map handy, whether it be tramping / hiking, hunting, fishing, mountaineering, or some other fun pastime.
NZ Topo Map - http://www.topomap.co.nz - provides the official LINZ topo maps online for free. Both the 1:50,000 and 1:250,000 map series are available. Makes planning those bush trips a little easier!

Can't think of any great online road maps to suggest other than Google Maps, but when you get over here you can pick up lots of free ones done by the AA from any main tourist info center - tend to be done by region.
