Dining Solo in Australia's capital cities?

Qantas has posted this list of good spots around the country for solo diners. They look pretty good for more, too

Thanks for posting, although it is a while before our October trip, at some point I need to think about FOOD! Would appreciate some other sources of restaurant recommendations - - websites or apps, blogs etc - - mainly for Darwin and Sydney.

Urbanspoon is quite good.

If you post your query in the various city forums, with an indication of what cuisine, dining style & budget you have in mind, locals & other visitors will be happy to give you some ideas, too.

I've never heard of it, fromDC. That doesn't mean much though.

Not an app, but in Darwin I recommend Hanuman, fabulous Thai/Indian fusion food.

Thanks for the suggestion, we love both India and Thai food and we will be in Darwin.
I found Zomato when I was researching restaurants for our trip to India.
