I am debating if I should spend a few days in Fiji on my fourthcoming trip to Australia. I will be travelling by myself. Is Fiji a safe destination for a solo female traveller? Also, what would a flight to Fiji from Sydney cost? Thnaks in advance.

Fiji is very safe for a solo female. I think the flight is about 600AUD return.

Hi there - yes, Fiji is lovely and perfectly safe. However, it's a long way to go and lots of $$$ for just a few days. Most people would be getting it as a free stopover on their flight from A to Z. If you are having to pay for a special return flight ex Sydney then unless you have loads of dosh I think I'd skip it. Where are you going to be visiting in Australia? And where are you going after Beijing? Assuming from your handle that you are headed there!!
