Aussie Fires-Helping the animals

The response to these horrendous fires world wide has been amazing but the animals need help as well.
Donations can be made to the RSPCA Victoria at this address http://www.rspcavic.org/campaigns_ne..._bushfires.htm.

Yes, a great story Treepol in a harsh time/situation.

Maybe Sam will not be too keen to go back to the wild!, always the Koala Conservation Park not too far away on Phillip Island.

Yes, don't forget burnt and distressed wildlife. Some people have been making small pads for the animals' burnt feet.

The following is a story from last year on the passing of Lucky the only koala in the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve to survive the 2003 Canberra fire -

I saw a video of a firefighter hand feeding a koala with a bottle on TV here in the US. It certainly was a cute story to come out of the disaster. I keep thinking about all the photos of the devastated areas with someone saying something like "Nothing is there anymore."
