Yercaud – Cheapest Getaway from Chennai

Yercaud is a small, peaceful place. Cheap and perfect place for a weekend from Chennai. It can be arranged under ₹1000 per head for a 2 days trip. This was my second visit to Yercaud. Last one was during my college days from Pondicherry.

Visite here for whole trip report: https://bhromonn.wordpress.com/2017/03/27/yercaud-2/

I had also visited Yercaud last year with my friends and I really enjoyed a lot there. The charming mountains of this place make you want to come back again and again at this place.

Yes it's a really nice place. The less crowd makes the place really nice and calm, when compared to other hill stations nearby.

Yercaud is a very small hill station located in Tamil Nadu. It is a great place to enjoy your holiday. From my personal experience I can tell that this is the place where you can really spend some days in peace and this place will make you fall in love with it so much that you will come back again to this place.

Good friends of mine went to school in Yercaud. It was the sister to school to mine. Both were in former French Colonies - therefore the schools were run by a French order of nuns.
