You can get doxy in Bangkok, no prescription required. Buy from a air-conditioned pharmacy that is large and busy and check the expiration date before you buy. You are better off to buy the unit dose packs rather than loose pills.

I don't understand why you don't get it here and not have to worry about getting it in BKK?

I just went to my pharmacy and asked for the price of 30 Doxycycline 100 mg caps. It was $18.60, or 61 cents each. It would be interesting to know how much they are in BKK.

About 10 cents each.

Any of the big chains such as Boots or Watsons are fine, or really any pharmacy in a big, busy shopping center. Of course, pharmacies at hospitals are reliable, but prices are higher.

I just asked at my Costco, and the price for 30 Doxycycline 100 mg without insurance was $6.12.

Jed, you are so right to cite Costco's prices. So buying at Costco vs. buying in Thailand is 20 cents a pill vs. 10 cents a pill.

For anyone who needs to buy Malarone and the insurance won't cover it, Costco has the best prices in the US.
