The Park or The Metropolitan in Delhi?
Hello Asia experts,
I am making my first trip to India in October. i'll be joining a group at The Park in Connaught Place for 2 or 3 nights, but am arriving two nights early (jet lag recovery and/or travel delays). Should I go to The Park or somewhere less expensive (guide recommended Metropolitan-$108 vs. $185ish as being close) and make the move on tour start day? BTW, I usually book through the hotel's website rather than discount sites, so I emailed the Metroplitan to ask if they would match Expedia's quote, but no answer as yet.

Thanks, guys-it was kind of my instinct that changing wouldn't be worth it; in the grand scheme of things, financially or otherwise. I went back and checked the itinerary, and we're only there two nights, which is the longest stay of the two week tour. Seems like if the purpose of going early is some down time, it makes sense to settle in and stay put.
