The best meal I had in Sanur was at the Village, a very nice Italian place on the 'main' road. If you're there on a Sunday, try the brunch at cafe Batujimbar.

A little further afield, we loved the Bumbu Bali in Benoa.

Sanur has some very nice places to eat: Mezzanie, right outside the Puri Santrian Hotel, also right next door the Aston. Cat and the Fiddle.
A must stop: Sanur Beach Bar - happy hour around 6, with music, right on the beach, swings for seats its part of the Sanur Beach Hotel, not too far from the Puri Santrian Hotel

I seem to recall a stand or two of bamboo growing around Sanur. Isn't that all Pandas eat???

Pandas are very refined palates and unrefined friends. There's a reason that our natural habitat is Cambridge, MA, a food-lovers paradise.
