Photos from 23 Day Vietnam Trip

I thought it would be easier to post my Vietnam photos here rather than having to scroll down through the lengthy 23 day trip report each time.

Just starting with your Mekong Delta photos. Beautifully presented and very evocative. Still 7 weeks before we follow you.

Great pictures! Fun to look at - the ones of Saigon and the Mekong Delta brought me back to my 2004 trip!

Thanks. Perhaps I will post some of my other pictures. Never did as no one seemed to look. I like my later pictures better than the Saigon and Delta pictures. Will post them later.

Speaking of pictures, we're not "photographers", but we do like to take pictures just for the memories. We only have a 3X optical zoom camera. Do you think it's worth getting a camera with a bigger zoom, and/or a videocam?

dgunbug - your photos are great, thanks so much for posting. If you get the chance, picture of Hoi An and Hue would be great - always helpful as trip planning.

Thanks SO much for sharing your pics. The Paloma looks fabulous. Did you do the one night or two night? I kind of like the idea of being on the water for two nights.Just wondering if anyone has done it and if it is worth it.

Never mind - I watched the rest of the pictures and realized that you did stay on a second night. So - was it worth it? It looks like it was.

We enjoyed two nights on the boat, especially after taking that long drive to and from the boat. We loved the Paloma, but regretted not being on a boat that had air conditioning in the dining room. The staff, food and accommodations were excellent, but it sure did get hot when we were out of the cabin. As for the two nights - I think it all depends on how much time you have to travel in VN.

Thanks for posting -- really enjoyed the photos, which gave us a flavor of what to expect and an idea of what we want to see (everything!) Great candid photos of people!
