New Tourist Attraction in Singapore
I am currently in Philippines now for a three week vacation. Planning postponed my trip to Sri Lanka and just do it in December but I want to visit Singapore for at least 2 days before going back to Bangladesh. My last visit in SG was December 2010 (I was there for 10 days) and visited Sentosa, giant wheel and some fashion shops around. Looking forward to see new things this time. Is there anything new that I must see in Singapore this year? So I can go straight there as I have limited time. Thanks for the response!

Warm greetings LPC, and early congrats on returning and spending time in our fine home of Singapore; special part of the world.
Will give the ongoing highest praise to one of my near-weekly SIN 'offices', the ever-changing and cherished Changi airport. This recent Monday morning, fine as ever, with the rather new Enchanted Garden in Terminal 2 and the 'Social Tree' in T1. (And, Singapore Airlines' T1 and T2 SilverKris Lounges remain fine pre-flight sanctuaries for your pre-boarding comfort, dining and libations.)
Not certain if you (and other fine Fodorites) will be in SIN next weekend, as will give another shameless promo to another installment of night-time Formula One racing through our avenues and boulevards. Have full-on loved F1 from childhood and have savoured the recent editions in Singapore (various scandals and all). If so inclined for attending this year's race in SIN, do remember your cheque book - and ear plugs. Can't wait to return in a few days.
Have fun in our sweet city-state of SIN; warm wishes to you and all,
macintosh (robert)

Thanks a lot for all your suggestions/responses. As usual, just like before - we had a nice time in Singapore but this time our visit was shorter than in our first 3 visits. We just went around through a cab to see what were the changes from our last visit. We visited our favorite restaurants in Serangoon, Toa Payoh, Balestier and Orchard Road then we tried something new at the Boat Quay in our special day which was last September 30. As we already visited Sentosa and some other parts of Marina Bay, we go directly to the Gardens By The Bay. That is a nice place and very appreciated place done by Singapore government. It is a garden with thousands of rare plants from around the world nicely arranged with loads of information. They have done a Cloud Walk - an artificial waterfall and a nice surrounding where you can walk from top to bottom of the water fall - so nice to have a visit there.
