Myanmar evisa system now working well.

Jump to last reply

From the 1st September 2014 a new on line evisa system was launched @$50
http://evisa.moip.gov.mm/
Whilst more expensive than getting your Visa from a local Embassy it is obviously very convenient for travellers from those countries that do not have a Myanmar Embassy or for those who are not relaxed about posting off their passport.
Latest posts on this thread indicate the system is working well with a turnaround of 2-4 days.

Currently it is only available for arrivals at Yangon airport, not Mandalay or by land or cruise ship
