jamesA---we miss you!!!
james i know you are fed up with the way the system works now or doesn't work, but we really need you here for assistence...
many questions go unanswered or answered incompletely because of your absense...
your knowledge of hotels and areas of asia are sorely missed....
i hope others will sign on and encourage him to return to the forum
i've written him a personal e mail so i hope he will look here some time soon and see that we miss him..

JamesA has been a valuable resource for me personally on this and on the Travelforum.org site that has become a shadow of its former self since he and others ceased to post there.
Please come back JamesA and help all of us that share your passion for Thailand, spread the gospel of the LOS.
Also, to the moderators and site designers, can we please bring back the seperate scroll bar for the topics panel and increase the active topics on this panel back to 50. Many questions go by without answers because I, like others that dont log in every day, dont bother to look at anything older than the last 25 as the new navagation system is cumbersome at best IMHO.

It takes several months to load up on the screen
I 'still' don't like the layout.
I have had a browse of others once in a while like Tripadvisor but doesn't interest me, too much confusuion between 'comments and opinion' with 'facts'.
Some clever guy on CNN mentioned that some time ago saying the problem with forums / chat was that people did not distinguish between what were 'facts' and the 'comments and opinions of a few'.
Got that off my chest !
Interestig: Tripadvisor rolled out a new design a couple of weeks back, no one liked it, lots of posts saying they wanted the old style back.
What did TA do ? - They rolled it back to the old version with the promise that their design people must take note of what everyone said and do a new version with and technological improvements necessary yet with the same design everyone was used to, happy with, and allow comments on it before going full on again.
Needless to stay everyone was happy.
Also been busy commuting to Phuket ( wow does that change every time ! ), sick dogs ( all fine now for the animal lovers out there ), drop in business ( tech, so no one wants to spend ), end of year accounts and everything ( I realy should have just bought that beach bar ).
I'll have a browse here and see what's going on, that is if I don't get logged-out !

Hi JamesA, good to see you here. Bob and Karen are both still around, though they don't post often.
I regret to inform you that Carol (simpson510) and Gpanda have passed on. Both are still missed.
