experience with Paloma Cruise Halong/Bai Tu Long Bays?

Does anyone have personal experience with the 2-night Paloma Cruise through Halong and Bai Tu Long Bays?

Thank you,

Stephanie

We spent two nights on this cruise several years ago and thought the staff, food and accommodations were very good. The only problem was that the weather was extremely hot and the only air conditioned areas were the cabins. If this has not been improved and if there are other lines that have air conditioned common areas (dining room), I would pick a different line. We were very surprised that we were the only people from our group that stayed an additional night. If you do not plan to swim or kayak, then one nite is sufficient.

Hi Stephanie,

If you interest in the Cruise itinerary for 03days/02 nights in Bai Tu Long bay area in Halong this is a good choice, another Cruise you may want to have a look is the Dragon Pearl. Many people like 3d2n as they will see more remote parts of Halong and the cruise next day on their smaller boat will allow you to discover some untouched parts of halong on your own kayak or you can also have a nice swim in some pristine area.
If you looking for a newer cruise please check the Pelican Cruise which is pretty good I think in term of facilities on board.Pls note that this cruise will do the normal cruise itinerary in the western part of the bay where you will also see many other travelers.
Hope my suggestion help & don't make you too confuse with which one to choose from hundreds boats.

cheers!

Thanks Hai. You responded to my other thread and were the one who suggested the Paloma. The Dragon Pearl is fully booked (our first choice.) We're going with the Paloma!
