There was a positive post about a year ago for this fairly new resort. The down side of staying here is that it is some distance from Hua Hin so you will likely miss out on convenience to shopping and dining in town.

The Evason in Phuket is 'ok' but on the baseis of location-location-location it looses sadly! Stuck in South East corner and the beach isn't good, they take you to a small island for the beach. I honestly see no point in choosing it, the West coast has a vast range of similar places, e.g Chedi at Surin beach, the hotels and resorts of Kata and Karon etc.The Boathouse at Kata, Kata Thani Resort, Karon Villa, list goes on.

If you give us an idea of what you are looking for, as much detail as you want, I am sure many of us can suggest some great places.

I think Craig was referring to the Evason Hua Hin which is 700km from Phuket!

Oops! You are right JamesA, I was referring to the Evason Hua Hin. I must need to get my eyes checked again!

Interesting to note though that in both cases, Evason Phuket and Evason Hua Hin they have apparently spent vast sums of the properties but both are famous for having 'loussy beaches'. Strange concept!
