Clothing - Phnom Penh in July
Just found out I'm traveling to Phnom Penh for work the first week in July. Not sure what clothing/shoes I should bring? I know it will be hot & rainy. Thanks for your help -

Be like the locals and purchase a couple of single use raincoats ($1 or less). While it will be hot it will only rain sometimes. Usually pours for half an hour or so and then finishes.
I've been there a few times in July and never found the weather a problem. As Kathie says, light breathable clothing and sandals. I wear longish shorts but not sure of the etiquette in a work situation.

We agree w/ Kathie; loose clothing, also you may want to include some clothing that covers most of the skin. Having some long-sleeved tops and full-length pants also helps keep mosquitoes and other biting insects at bay. The humid conditions promote mold and mildew, so a cheap pair of flip-flops for the bathroom can help guard against athlete's foot and similar health problems.
Hope this helps. Have a safe trip.

Thank you, Kathie, silverwool and Azooki. I appreciate your input. I should have mentioned I'm female, in my 20s. We'll be visiting a business associate, but I'm not sure how formal it will be, either.
