Bangkok: Wat Saket
Took at Tuktuk here from Wat Po for 30Bt. all of the drivers started at 80 Bt asking price and some tried to lower it to 50Bt if I would make one shopping stop. No way was i going to fall for that old trick. I hit a deal on the fifth driver.
Nice views from atop a 300 foot hill surrounded by a large temple area. 10 bt donation. Breeze felt good up here, but not much to see inside the temples except for some murals.
I walked about a block or so away to Klong San Sap and caught a water taxi back to the stop just a little ways past the Jim Thompson House and a long block away from the National Stadium.
From there I took the Skytrain to Chit Lom and went up to the Loft inside Central Chidom for a mango smoothie and banana crepes.

NS---instead of starting a new topic for each post, how about just continuing along the same post so we can all see things as they progress and look to come back to the same post each day for updates????
