Bangkok GTG in November?? 2010

Who is going to be in bangkok during november and early december....?? we should plan to have a GTG as we have often done in the past...

what dates would work for you....

our dates are: oct 28-nov 1; nov 14-23; and nov 28-dec 2.....

Bob, we will be in Bangkok in Nov/Dec but only for a few days each time. It looks like we are there from Nov18, fly to India on the 21st, then back to Bangkok on Dec 4 and fly home to Seattle on Dec 7 at 6 am.

So we have a small overlap with you on Nov 18-20.

we will try and work something also but like Kathie we only have a small overlap. Will know more when i have booked flights. will let you know ASAP.

I am 95% sure I will be in Bangkok during that time period. If the GTG is still on, I'd love to join in and meet those whose reports I've read on a regular basis!

andy has a scan tomorrow and if it is ok, then they will be in bkk from mid-nov to early dec with a few side trips...

so much for a quiet and peaceful GTG

we can usually count on michael and pook, maybe some others too and hopefully a newbie or two... kathie will be around also so it should be fun....

any suggestions for a venue??

following in carol/pook's footsteps, kathie has suggested a dim sum lunch for our GTG in november???

its not set in stone yet, but its looking like the november GTG will be a luncheon of dim sum on november 20...

pook and michael, would you be able to attend?

who else will be in town and available for a delicious lunch??

i'm thinking of the liu restaurant at the conrad hotel...imo, they have the best dim sum in bkk.... but none of this is yet cast in stone...

If I'm in town yes definately I, or we, will attend. Conrad is nice and the 20th is a Saturday so that's good with us - IF we are in town.

Michael, dogster,Kathie, Cheryl, Brad, Carol, Smeagol, dr. wilko, vientianeboy & girl, mango7, orgy7, kuranosuke, HT, PetherN-H etc.... will you guys be around?

of course...you are both gentlemen so it would work fine....

i propose the Liu Restaurant at the Conrad hotel for the venue.... any other suggestions.... i have yet to have better DS other than where will took us in LA...
