Hi,
About 6 of my friends and I are thinking about going to Bali in February. We are all 20. Any suggestions of the best place to stay and any hotel names for our age group?
Thank you!

Kuta is the party beach, filled with young people and lots of booze and drugs. There are plenty of hotels there. One of the nicer ones is Poppies.
I'd suggest that you get a villa in Seminyak. Seminyak has a wonderful beach, some excellent clubs and restaurants, good shopping and spas. It's close enough to Kuta to be lively, but not directly in the middle of the insanity.
I don't have any specific recommendation for a villas, but I'd concentrate on the Petitenget area. For a resort I'd look at The Colony.
Thanks heaps
If youre on a budget, I believe Grandmas Hotel in Seminyak is quite nice...and close to all the happening places! But if you want something a little more upmarket, The Breezes across the road is much better.
I was roughly your age when we went to Bali. We stayed at Villa KeCapi in Seminyak. They were amazing. Great big villas with private pools. Open living areas and private rooms. They would come in and make us morning tea and afternoon tea every afternoon also. Its so close to the beach and to Kuta but far enough away from any nonsense. Visit Potato Head, Rock Bar, and maybe even a night or a day trip out to the Gilli Islands if possible? Amazing
