I am flying Dulles to Heathrow in March, and wanted to get some tips on upgrading to business class. I have no BA miles - or miles with any of its partner airlines. Am I dreaming? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I can offer to you though, without any miles accrued your chances are pretty slim to none on an upgrade. Unless your devilishly handsome and can charm one of the stewardess's or gate agents. Just buy the upgrade. As for Penny, she routinely posts here and as usual her ignorance is enlightening " use your charm,etc".
