Oslo Gardermoen and Stockholm Arlanda short transfer times

Hi

Thanks for taking a look

I am taking 2 separate trips. All flights with SAS

Helsinki-Gardermoen-Brussels and also Helsinki-Stockholm(Arlanda)-Paris

On the first trip i have a 30 minute layover, i won't have any checked baggage so I assume this 30 minutes would be ok? Am i correct?

The next trip to from Helsinki to Paris transfers in Stockholm Arlanda. I have 35 minutes to transfer. I might need checked baggage here. Would it be a safer bet not to have checked baggage as it is a short transfer or should it all be ok?

Any advice is appreciated

Thank You

Gardermoen airport is tiny. We had a 45 minute layover and a 75 minute layover there in March and had plenty of time to get a snack and read for a little while both times. We had checked bags and they made it on the other end, too.

Always safer to carry on luggage for short layovers though. That way, if you do miss your connection, at least "where is my bag?" won't be a part of the problem.

SAS has booked me before for short connection in OSL and ARN with no problems if on one ticket. But I have also been on a two separate ticket itinerary (different payors for each segment, so I needed two tickets) with a longer layover, delayed due to weather so missed connection, and SAS was not accommodating. They did not have to be because I had two separate tickets. That is the key to the short transfer and back on on later flight if connection is missed.
