Can I get any cash back if I buy miles and cancel my trip?
I would need to buy some miles to get a FF ticket on NWA. I know I can redeposit miles if I decide not to take the trip. Would I just redeposit the purchased miles as well or can I get any cash back?
Hope this question makes sense and doesn't sound too dumb!

From Northwest Airlines website:
The miles will be posted to your WorldPerks account within 24 hours after you purchase Buy Miles. The miles you purchase are non-refundable and do not apply to Elite Qualifying Miles. All other terms and conditions of the WorldPerks program apply.
Looks like they are non refundable. Check out their website for more info:

Keith, the OP says:

Isn't she talking about "purchased miles"???
