Tree climbing goats
Hi Guys, we've been hearing a lot about goats that climb trees to eat argan berries. We are staying in Marrakech and would like to see them do their stuff .Any suggestions for the closest place?

You can see these goats south of Marrakech (down towards Taroudant and out towards the coast).
To answer your other post about argan oil, these same areas are the best places to buy argan oil because the goats are crucial to the process. They eat the berries and digest the flesh, but the hard kernel inside is passed through. The farmers collect these and grind it to produce the oil (which is why the oil has a faintly goaty flavour).

We are heading to Morocco in April and in researching the forum for tips came across this link in a trip report from danielsonkin. It has pics of the tree goats in Essouria. BTW - His report was very informative.
