Have a fantastic trip! We will be in Morocco for 10 days in mid-March . . . I hope you will report back here and let us know all about your trip.

Just have fun, know that the roads are generally pretty good but stay alert for the occasional driver that isn't exactly playing by the same rules. If you're someplace with a toilet, use it - a gas station stop w/ facilities somewhere along the way isn't a given.

And a tidbit that's unlikely to be useful... but... if you find yourself in the Middle Atlas in a town called Azrou, give it and the surrounding area a chance, even if it doesn't look very Moroccan in town there. If you're there for the Tuesday local berber Market, that'd be a huge bonus. But even if not, you'll find things in shops you see in other cities sell here for half or less. Sometimes a small fraction of the price elsewhere. Mostly it's that the people are really nice.

Oh... and wherever you are, bargain. Bargain hard. And if you aren't shopping, get very good at saying "La Shukran" while you keep your usual pace. You pause to look at something and you're not really interested, you're soon going to know why I say this. Just don't take touting personally - it's a true look at a culture that's fantastic at always working the business angle.

Thanks everyone-now if Gatwick and Easy Jet don't shut down on Sunday? The weather situation in the UK is always interesting...
