Controversial archeological tours available for Egypt?

Does anyone know if there are any small group tours for studying the evidence of ancient higher intelligence & technology (aka: theories of ancient aliens, etc)? I realize that such a focus seems to be considered heresy by traditional archeologists. And guides I have encountered everywhere I've traveled seem clearly offended and uncomfortable with any questions about this, so I never pursue further. Seems incredible to me that so much wealth of discovery is being ignored or actually avoided!

While I prefer to travel independently, I do not have the vacation time available to try to find all the sites, much less to gain access; and I don't have the finances to afford a 1:1 tour guide. So a small group tour would be ideal, but can't determine whether there are any are in existence.

See what I mean? Please. If you have no interest, then just skip on to the next topic. I'm really asking for constructive knowledge here. I am not discounting anything achieved by any civilization.

Thanks for the suggestion, Hanuman. I do appreciate your response. I'm actually less interested in any of the spiritual angles than simply exploring the sites of archeological evidence. I just don't do Google searches well, I'm afraid. Hope someone has had experience of finding such a guide.

Have also visited Tiwanaku Puma Punku in Bolivia

in some ways more amazing than the Pyramids 150 tonne

stones jointed to tightly you cannot slide a piece of paper

between them at an altitude where man cannot even breathe...

One of the most amazing and mysterious places I have been

a bit cheaper to get to out of FLL to LIM on spirit.com

bus up the gringo trail to La Paz...did it for under $1k.

Erich von Daniken (1) ... Archaeologist Alexei Vranich's disser- tation on the Puma Punku (1999), one of Tiwanaku's largest ...http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&fiel...&rh=n%3A283155...

Truly an amazing journey pick up the Nasca Linnes too...

Thank you, qwovadis. I've been studying this stuff since I first read vonDaniken's tiny little book in 1970. Never occurred to me to look for tours on his website. I don't yet find any there, but will continue to search. I have about 50 books on my shelves which relate to this rich history, but still cannot imagine being able to do an independent and economical tour. Too complicated to get to the sites in Egypt where the great Minister of Antiquities appears to have carefully obscured these things for so many years.

Ah qwovadis-a kindred spirit! Yes. I have been to Machu Picchu, the Nazca Lines and most of the nearby sites there, Easter Island, Egypt etc. etc. I'm not a zealot. Just a believer, and love to see what I've read. Bolivia was my next scheduled trip for this purpose. All but Egypt have been easy to navigate on my own.

I hope you find the right guide. We went to Egypt in 2001 and one of our tour guides with Isram tour company was very inerested in the alien topic. He showed us carvings thought to represent astronauts, etc. I wish I could remember his name. Maybe asking the tour companies if they have any guides specializing in these theories?
