Jet Rag

West Hollywood

While Jet Rag is known for costumes and film and television wardrobe, it's also on local vintage lovers' radars for sought-after items. They have perfectly worn boots and leather jackets, denim cutoffs, Calvin Klein dresses, and colorful cat-eye sunnies. The store takes its reasonable prices one step further on Sunday with an all-day parking lot sale where everything goes for $1; just be prepared to dig for the real finds.

Jewelry and Fossil Shop of Steamboat

The generic-sounding name doesn't do justice to the intriguing and appealing collection of Native American turquoise, locally crafted jewelry, and museum-quality fossils and rocks (including dinosaur eggs and megalodon teeth as well as chair-sized pieces of quartz) housed here. It's fascinating to browse even if you're not in the mood to buy.

Jewelry District

Downtown

Filled with bargain hunters, these crowded sidewalks resemble a slice of Manhattan with nearly 5,000 individual vendors and businesses. While you can save big on everything from wedding bands to sparkling belt buckles, the neighborhood also offers several more upscale vendors for those in search of super-special pieces.
