The Shops at the Bravern

If you have some serious cash to burn, the sleek, upscale Bravern might be the Eastside spot for you. With high-end shops like Moncler, Hermès, Prada, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Leica, it's tempting to empty your wallet—but save room for a spa treatment at the Gene Juarez Salon & Spa or a meal at luxury Chinese hot-pot spot the Dolar Shop. Valet and complimentary parking (with validation) are available.

The Shops at the Charleston Place

The city's most renowned hotel is flanked by an indoor mall of upscale boutiques and specialty shops, as well as several restaurants, including Charleston Grill, Meeting at Market pub, and the Community Perk coffee shop. Retail offerings include Gucci, Kate Spade, and Louis Vuitton. It's an excellent respite from the heat or the rain, and the city's finest publicly accessible restrooms are downstairs near the shoeshine station.

Shops at the Loom

This renovated textile mill is Bushwick's take on a minimall, with more than 20 businesses including a yoga studio, a bike shop, and a tattoo parlor. You can pick up a coffee at Kave Espresso Bar, take a DIY craft class at Brooklyn Creative Studio, or pick up head-turning club wear at House of La Rue. The Shops at Wailea

Stylish, upscale, and close to most of the resorts, this mall brings high fashion to Wailea. Luxury brands such as Gucci, Cos Bar, and Tiffany & Co. are represented, as are less expensive chains like Billabong, Lululemon, and Tommy Bahama. Daily events include lei making, ukulele lessons, and hula performances. If you're peckish, grab some elevated pub food at Pint & Cork, island-style fare at Tommy Bahama Restaurant and Pub, or takeaway from Island Gourmet Markets, which also sells grocery essentials and locally made food products

Shops at Willow Bend

The Shops at Willow Bend include anchors Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue and boutiques such as Escada, Lacoste, and Yves Delorme. The indoor play area (which looks like a giant breakfast, complete with a Texas-sized steak and a coffee cup to jump in and out of) is usually packed with toddlers and their parents. The rest of the mall is rarely crowded—excellent for serious shoppers with little time.

The Shops of Grand Avenue

Although Milwaukee's downtown shopping center has declined from its heyday, it still packs an impressive amount of shopping into a few city blocks. Shops here include Boston Store (a Milwaukee institution) and Brew City Beer Gear—a necessary stop for all things beer and Milwaukee.

Showcase Mall

South Strip

"Mall" is a bit of a misnomer here, where stores are more like highly evolved interactive marketing concepts. First off, there's M&M'S, the four-story homage to the popular candy, where huge dispensers with every color and type line one wall. More sugar awaits you at the Coca-Cola Store, where the Around the World Tray brings you 14 sparkling and still beverage flavors from around the world. Be sure to get a photo of the 100-foot bottle of Coca-Cola outside. The flagship two-story Lids store has all sorts of team-branded merchandise. Post sugar buzz, you can head to the Hard Rock Cafe to browse the interactive video Rock Wall or buy T-shirts, Las Vegas–branded clothing, and souvenirs. The Showcase Mall's parking structure is right next to the MGM Grand; the best access is from the fifth floor, where a pedestrian bridge crosses into the mall. A less hectic option is to park at any of the surrounding hotels (MGM Grand, NY–NY, Park MGM) and walk here.

Shreve, Crump & Low

Back Bay

Since 1796, Shreve has specialized in high-end treasures, including gems and handcrafted platinum rings, as well as men's and women's watches and high-quality antiques. But don't get the impression that you can't afford anything here: one of the store's best-selling items is a $99 ceramic pitcher called "The Gurgling Cod," in honor of the state fish.

Shugarman's Little Shop

In a region known for artisanal sweets, this cozy candy shop set amid Madrid's string of galleries has earned a cult following for its imaginative edible works of art. Some of the more unusual creations include dark chocolate studded with hibiscus flowers, lemon, and ginger, and creamy white chocolate with lavender sugar and flecks of actual lavender.

Shupp's Grove

A seasonal outdoor market in a tree-shaded wood, Shupp's Grove is the oldest antiques haunt in Adamstown. Acres of dealers pile their tables high with you-name-it, from the beautiful to the bizarre. In addition to the regular market, each weekend features a different theme to highlight specialists in that field (military, fiber, posters, etc.).

SHW Jewelry

East Village

The shelves of this small shop are stacked with elegant vases, dishware, and home accessories, mostly in glass and ceramic, by designers from around the United States. The dainty jewelry in gold and other precious metals tends to suit everyday wear rather than statement pieces.

SIDESHOW

Fells Point

The museum store at the American Visionary Art Museum features over 2,000 square feet of books, jewelry, cards, toys, accessories, costumes, and other novelties. Only a fun and wacky place like this would have a coin-operated Zoltar Machine (the same as in the movie Big) and Whoopee cushions. Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake comes here to buy her fabulous costume jewelry. There's a second location inside the Lord Baltimore Hotel.

Siesta Key Village

Not too far from Siesta Key's wildly popular beaches is a cluster of stores, restaurants, and watering holes you won't want to miss. This is a great place to shop and grab a bite after the beach—or earlier if it's not a beach day.

Park in the municipal lot at the end of Avenida Madera, then stroll down Ocean Boulevard, where you'll find clusters of upscale shops and a range of restaurants and bars.

Sig Zane Designs

This acclaimed boutique for women and men sells island wearables with bold colors and motifs designed by the legendary Sig Zane, known for his artwork honoring Hawaii's native flora and fauna. All apparel is handcrafted in Hawaii and is often worn by local celebrities and businesspeople.

Silver City Trading Co.'s Antique Mall

Vendors at the Silver City Trading Co.'s Antique Mall stock antiques, collectibles, and various and sundry treasures and trinkets. There are some real finds in this filled-to-the-rafters space, for a lot less than you'll see in many areas. Take some time to look in the nooks and crannies.

Silver Hills Trading Co.

This store offers everything from Native American jewelry to Southwestern and Old West souvenirs, including replica guns and Tombstone sheriff badges.

Silver Lake Farmers’ Market

Silver Lake

Silver Lake’s decent sized farmers' market is undeniably Silver Lake. Alongside growers’ tents selling their freshest harvests—either locally grown or certified organic, of course—are tables displaying healing crystals, vintage cassette tapes, and treasures from far-flung parts of the world like Ghana and India. There are also racks of secondhand clothing, and stalls cooking up something delicious and vegan.

Silver Sands Premium Outlets

Put on your eight-hour shoes if you want to explore all the outlet stores at this mega-outdoor mall. There are nearly 100 of them, representing just about every household name in fashion, accessories, home goods, and beauty. Saks OFF 5th anchors one end, and in between you'll find quality merchandise for bargain prices in stores like Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, Coach, Polo Ralph Lauren, J. Crew, and Le Creuset. There are several places to grab a snack to revive your spirits for another round of shopping.

Silverlake Wine

Silver Lake

Boutique wineries from around the world provide this shop with the vintage bottles that fill the floor-to-ceiling racks. The relaxed and unassuming but knowledgeable staff can steer you to the right wine or spirits for any occasion. Those who prefer to enjoy their wine in the privacy of their vacation rental or hotel will be pleased to know they also do deliveries around Silver Lake and the neighboring areas.

Silvia Tcherassi

The famed, Miami-based Colombian designer's signature boutique features ready-to-wear, feminine, and frilly dresses and separates accented with chiffon, toile, and sequins. You'll see plenty of Tcherassi's designs on Miami's Latin power players at events and A-list parties. A neighboring atelier showcases the designer's bridal collection.

Sincerely, Tommy

This avant-garde womens-wear shop isn't typical of this neighborhood, but the items in stock—funky sheer and cutout tops, a gotta-have-it bright-red coat, cool bags—are attention grabbing anywhere in town. The white-draped dressing rooms are a nice touch, as is the quaint coffee shop: it's surely the first place east of Bedford Avenue to serve Balthazar pastries.
