Serendipity12th

12 South

Located in its current location since 2021, Serendipity has been a 12South staple since 2001. You'll still find lots and lots of gifts for everyone. Travel games, novelty items, little books, and locally made candles with scents such as \"Nashville\" (whiskey and leather) abound. This store also stocks women's clothing and accessories and has quite a collection of children's books, games, and more.

Serge's Wigs

West Side

If you've always wished for the sleek tresses of the stunning Vegas showgirls (or female impersonators), or if you want to try a daring new look for the clubs, head to this bright and spacious Vegas institution. You'll find an expansive selection of natural-hair and synthetic wigs and hairpieces available in many styles, lengths, and colors, as well as accoutrements such as Styrofoam heads, hair adhesives, shampoos, scarves/turbans, and eyelashes.  A hair covering must be worn (scarf, bandana, nylon stocking) or purchased before trying on wigs (and the cost credited back if you purchase something). Allow additional time for cutting, styling, and proper fitting of your hairpiece if you plan to wear it on the same day of purchase.

The Shelburne Country Store

As you enter this store, you'll feel as though you've stepped back in time. Walk past the potbelly stove and take in the aroma emanating from the fudge neatly piled behind huge antique glass cases, alongside a vast selection of penny candies and chocolates. There are creemees, of course, but here the specialties are candles, weather vanes, glassware, and local foods.

Shell World

Lots of shops in the Keys sell cheesy souvenirs—snow globes, alligator hats, shell-encrusted anything—and this is the granddaddy of them all. But at this sprawling building in the median of the Overseas Highway, you'll also find high-end clothing, jewelry, housewares, artwork, and keepsakes that range from delightfully tacky to tasteful.

Shelter

This serene shop with a minimalist aesthetic features a beautifully curated selection of textiles, tabletop, kimonos, ceramics, candles, books, and furniture made from wood, stone, and other natural and organic elements. It's owned by a group of friends (including Wimberley natives) who scour the globe---leaning into Japan---to compile this beautiful collection. Find an oasis of quiet while you shop, and pick up a lovely gift imbued with serenity.
